Folks,
I always wondered what made Star Fleet and the Federation actually function. What with Jimmy Kirk chasing down all the alien tail he could nail and with Riker carrying on that tradition to the Next Generation, it was always a mystery as to how the Federation managed to keep the lights on and Star Fleet to keep the ships running.
Watching this bit, now I know!
