The Things They Carried Blues
I guess I need to accept the fact that school is going to start whether I want it to or not :-\ Oh well...I miss all my friends anyway. I'm about half-way through with The Things They Carried and its a pretty weird book. I can't analyze it b/c as soon as I get a clear thought into my head the next paragraph contradicts what I just figured out. The whole book is an oxymoron!! If I didn't have to mark it and analyze the crap out of it, I'm sure it would be a really interesting book to read.
I signed up for PSAT classes today--on Tuesdays and Sundays randomly. So that should be FUN...haha right. But I definitely need help learning how to take the test--I'm bad at timed tests like that. If anyone else is interested please let me know b/c I get $50 off if I get a friend to come :) Its a little expensive but you can come back anytime afterward for SAT help at no charge other than new materials! My mom freaked out when I tried to get her to look at PSAT class times...turns out she had a realization of how soon I'll be 'leaving' her. She started yelling about really random things and got mad-and went to talk to my dad. When I came downstairs after she had cooled down she started crying and hugging me and saying she doesn't want me to leave and go to college...I comforted her and me and my dad just exchanged a knowing glance. From now on I believe me and my dad will be handling the college thing :)
Its not the weekend anymore so band is keeping my friends busy :( And some of my other friends are heading to LA...so its pretty much just me and my english project
WAHOOO.......not
But I got some Coldplay piano music today so maybe I'll have some time to learn it!
