Christmas Tree!
We headed down to Ikea today and yaay we got our first fresh Christmas tree for the studio! I've never ever had a fresh one, so I was pretty excited and took a nice big sniff of the fresh pine smell, what a happy smell!! :) We're looking forward to dressing it up with some cinnamon stick bundles and hopefully other food items that will last the month. Not sure what yet, any ideas??
We also needed to buy 2 new chairs because we are hosting a party of 22 this Friday. But horror of horrors, there was only 1 left on the shelves!! Got them to call Ikea Alexandra and they were out too!! We were quite distressed because it meant we had to get 2 different chairs and try to fit it into the set that we currently have. But thank God that as we were walking to the counter to pay, we decided to check out the as-is section and found ONE more piece there!! Woohoo! It was missing a foot rest but at least it completes our set! Yaay! :)
Our trolley was so full, there was no space for Ellie!!
