This would not be particularly funny any day ever. I like a good shut down as much as most people, but that's some serious sexist and homophobic shit there. (Oh, right, sexism: it's hilarious and cutting edge. How do I keep forgetting that?)
But even leaving aside the big steaming pile of misogyny and homophobia, how the hell did anyone think it was cool in the context of what's going on at Penn State? This guy is a high school football coach, there's no way he's not aware.
The least horrible version of this message that I can come up with is 'Reporting bad things that happen to you is a sign of weakness, will end in ridicule, and won't be taken seriously' and I just... Wow. Two weeks ago, that seemed like a good idea to give to your teenage football players? Really?
