Okay, let me preface this by saying that everything is going well with rehab, and I'm fine.
But I am starting to become seriously annoyed that everything on the internet refers to 'the post-operative instructions given to you by your surgeon' as the end all be all of post-op care. PCL rehab seems to be particularly contentious, there are completely different sample protocols out there, all of which also reference post-op instructions. But even for other, more general things, like 'should I still have a fever?' it's all 'see your helpful post-op sheet!' Or in some cases 'consult your doctor.'
That would be vastly more helpful if I had post-op instructions. Or if my doctor would return phone calls. Or if the advice nurse line would pick up.
