My LSAT scores expire next year. I thought they already had, but when I double checked it turned out I took them in '07, not '06, so I have another year. Academic, though: I feel very good about my decision not to go to law school. Still, it's got me thinking. Even though I don't yet know what for, more school is very likely in my future.

What I have been thinking lately is that the next step for me, career-wise, is to get myself enrolled some kind of math class and see how that goes. I'm thinking community college or the USDA, where I took econ a while back. Last time I took straight math I was a petulant teenager with issues about being Bad At Math and, well, just issues. When I briefly revisited it in college it turned out I had more capacity in that area than I thought, enough to make it worth another revisit. If I can hack Calc I, some interesting options open up for me. If not, that's a good thing to know.

Anyway, the actual impetus for this post, and the part that might be interesting to other people: ETS is offering 50% off GRE test fees this August and September. $80 instead of $160. Having some GRE scores to work with in the next five years might not be such a bad thing...
