I am checking things off my to-do list!
Bought plane tickets and made hotel reservations for the west coast trip.
Scheduled a consultation with the orthopedic surgeon to talk about my knee.
Set up a site for the memorial service in Port Townsend, and got started on the paperwork for that.
Feeling a little bit kick-ass at this grownup thing.
Also feeling tired and achy. It's hard not to notice that the headaches in my life are from juggling the scheduling and paperwork for my mother’s funeral, high probability of losing my job, and my seriously busted body. And that's... well, it's all manageable, but that's the real thing, as headaches go. I don't want to bitch too much, because in a lot of ways life is really good, but I am hoping for better (or at least simpler) times ahead.
