Tyler performed a wedding this weekend. It has been pretty wonderful to watch him prepare for it, to see how seriously he takes marriage, how much he believes in the process and all its potential; how deeply he thinks about love and commitment and what that means for two people over a lifetime. I've been quietly marveling at it for weeks, and yet, still, standing up there, listening to my husband give such a heartfelt, eloquent and inspired talk about marriage... it brought me to tears, quite apart from the rest of the situation.

I am so lucky and so happy.
