To properly understand how amazed I was by the wedding that happened, you should realize that at 2pm, when Heather hustled me into the shower, the yard looked a lot like this:
Well, plus a big empty tent and a dozen people running around with chairs and ladders and trashcans and string. It was lovely fun chaos, but not in any way a wedding.
When I came back out, it was this wonderland.
Except all the chairs were full of people I love. Best magic trick ever.
Walking up to the reception part, post photos
Then, as the sun went down, the lanterns came on.
Tyler and me, sitting under the tent enjoying the night. Thankful that our friends made us sit down and eat. If they hadn't insisted, I wouldn't have stopped hugging people until I fell over from hunger.

Ceremonial pie-cutting
Ceremonial pie-feeding (We didn't smush it on each other's faces. it was custard, that would have been gross.)
First Dance - There was a plan. We had picked out a song we thought was appropriate, and were planning to have it cued up and announced and everything, but right after the toasts someone turned the music back on and the song that just happened to be next was in fact exactly the song we originally wanted to use, but couldn't find. It's an impossible-to-get live recording from one of the first concerts Tyler and I saw together. Heather found it at the last minute and snuck it into our mix as a surprise. So we stood up and danced.
