There are things I am coming to realize about myself...

And one of them is that I cannot spell the word 'barrel' without help. Like, not for exorbitant amounts of money*. Double letters, man.

*note 'exorbitant' gives me no trouble. WTH?

I used to have the worst trouble with "parallel", and it still gives me pause.

...Also, whenever I use a phrase I don't hear very much (such as "gives me pause") I always stop and wonder if I'm using it correctly.

I have yet to spell receive correctly on the first try.

I have so much trouble with when to use "than" vs "then".

I can never seem to get "misspell" right...I definitely did not spell that correctly the first time I typed that. Other than that, I can generally get most words correct the first time.
