It's been a weird day. Just. Way up, fairly down, and a whole lotta sideways. Not dull.
It seems like everyone's gonna be okay. We'll see about work, but everything else is good. Today it ends good anyway: Kevin (who is still The Man) took me out for dinner at Ben & Jerry's and then we wandered Annapolis. Played with a puppy, watched sailboats, rocked Elvis Costello in the comic shop, got out of the used bookstore for under $20 and had the willpower not to go into the Irish pub right next to it. (That street is an AsterTrap, though, it's almost unfair.) Went to JC rehearsal and got a few minute of entertainment, a moment with a really tiny baby, and many good hugs. And some delicious tomatos. Came home to find flowers and a note of encouragement.
Computer's about to crash, but I've got a new one on the way. Life is odd, but I'm gonna decide to be really more than okay with today. Curling up with my new Calvin and Hobbes book.
