I'm such a sap
The light this morning was amazing. Grey blue cloudcover and low warm glow. The kind of light you usually get at sunset, the kind that makes for great photography and is imitated on vanity fair covers. And then there was a rainbow. Somehow I forget you can have those at 7am. But you can.
Couldn't find my smartrip card. (oh. just remembered where it is.) Used a random ticket from my purse that looked like it had money on it. Got off the train and stood there fumbling with the exitfare machine for about ten seconds before the station manager walks over, takes my ticket, puts it in his pocket and opens the gate for me.
