Because I'm Nothing If Not Late: Some Recommendations
It appears I managed to wait until the very last minute, or beyond, to send in some recommendations to the IYFG.
Since I have my settings to receive Special Notices only, the last message I received was a reminder to vote for a new mod. So, relying on the faulty calendar in my head, I thought I had another day or two before the nominations begin. (Belated congrats to her, btw--perhaps her first duty can be to see to it that all members receive important information and reminders. *nudge nudge* ^_~) Of course, this summer has just been crazy and I have been missing deadlines for things left and right anyway. *sigh* So, since I don't know if my post will even go up, I thought I'd post them here.

Some are thought-provoking, some will touch your heart, and some are just plain fun. ^_^ If you see anything you'd like to nominate, please feel free to grab them. I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! It rained most of the day here, but it had cleared up by the time we got out of church, so we carried out our plans for a huge cookout and fireworks at the in-laws' place. After we got home, I sat in the swing out front for a while and watched more fireworks as I enjoyed the lovely cool breeze. It was beautiful out. I can't remember such a cool 4th of July since the 1st summer I worked in Yellowstone and it snowed. ^_^ Now, I need to start packing. Ugh.
