long overdue update
it has been quite some time since i last wrote something in my journal. my life is pretty hectic right now, and has been for several months. with me taking this new position or jr. it guy at my place of employment, my head has felt like it is going to explode. i have learned so much, in the past few months, and i know i have so much more to learn. i am getting pretty good at making patch cables, and have run several network lines, and the one thing i learned....punchdown tools are expensive. getting the downstairs finished in for my mother to move in is also a big project i have going right now. i do have a contractor, but he is a friend, so i am helping with some of the work. waiting on the plumber to come and cut a hole in the concrete and get that started.......i have been keeping up real good with the lawn though.....new lawnmower makes almost a perfect cut......and i have the greenest grass in the neighborhood. there is alot of weedeating, and cutting down of brush that i need to do on the fenceline in the backyard, and if i were a good neighbor, even though shawn moved out several months ago......i would go next door and cut his grass too.......it is really getting a little high. i was wondering about that the other day.....no for sale sign in the yard.......anybody want to buy a house next to me? 119g on 3/4 of an acre, and the backyard is heavily wooded.....and it is almost 3000 sq.ft. in a cul-de-sac.......oh..and i forgot to mention....my co-worker brought in a copy of unreal tournament......i am so hooked. we play every day from 5:00-5:45......that game rocks my socks.
