Last night's session was...I guess the word is normal. Bit of combat, bit of roleplaying. Combat went well--realized that until now I've been focusing on martial power opponents or weird demonic/undead things, and really overrepresenting humans. Threw them up against a gnome arcanist and twin half-elf mages-in-training (Fire and ice), plus a magically animated statue. Went over well--they were after Dave's character, as hired vengeance.

I need to remember to make more NPCs of different races. Not that humans aren't the most populous race in the campaign, but they'd literally never seen a gnome previous, and no other half-elves, either. No shifters, goliaths, or even really halflings have been mentioned, and dwarves exist but don't get a lot of screen time. I'm portraying a setting where all of these races coexist, but it's been difficult to find chances recently to use them.

I had an encounter set up in one adventure where there was a mixed-species force, but the party went a different direction so it wasn't used. It's just a thing that I guess I need to remember to deal with more moving on out from here.

Anyway, nothing spectacular to discuss apart from that, in relation to the game. So that's that.
