I've been trying to figure out where to upload my trip pictures to. Flickr is no good, they have a bandwidth limit for uploads unless you pay for a pro account, and I just don't do enough of this to do that. I had Photobucket recommended to me, checked it out, it looks fine. But you can only upload one image at a time, and I have 496 ( Read more... )

they just recently added hosting. :)

haven't tried it myself. this has always been a frustrating conundrum for me, and I even have my own hosting space.

I have hosting, but not enough. It's around 400M of pictures. The Flock/Photobucket uploader would have (in theory) automatically resized them all so it wound up only being around 60M, but I am not going to go through and do that myself before uploading somewhere else. Picasa's limit is 250M, I haven't looked yet to see if they'll automatically resize.

Sorry to hear about your problem uploading the pics. Have you tried doing a smaller batch to see if that works? Would you mind submitting your problem here so our support team can help you?

No, I haven't tried uploading a smaller collection, and on reflection decided that was the most likely problem... but if I try to upload a smaller selection of the pics, I will lose the labels I entered on the ones I remove from the list, and it's the process of relabelling that I dread. I know I really should have done smaller groups from the start, but I failed to do so.

I will submit my problem tomorrow. Thanks for the post!

Hi, i was looking for the photobucket uploader and stubled upon here. Photobucket is great if you had the old uploader, which i'm trying to find for my notebook.
I'm saving this page to my memories, and if I find it, I'll post a link here.

Cool, thanks. I wound up going with picasa at the time, but I would be interested in that link if it happened to turn up. :)
