Found it!
A few weeks before the move, I bought my mom a book. I'm leaving for Nashville in the morning and wouldn't you know it, I couldn't find the book. (Also, the cats have rendered both of my suitcases unusable, which is making packing an interesting job.)
Within the past 5 minutes, I have found both the missing book AND the power cord to my computer speakers.
I am very excited about this. Able to hear my computer through something other than headphones... rapture.
I need to be awake in about 6 hours and while I've now found everything I need to pack, I haven't actually packed yet. Sleep may or may not happen.
