Part 3: Celtic MYTHOLOGIES!

Mar 27, 2024 12:39

Here are some links involving Celtic mythology.  Mythologies. Sorry, I cannot really do a discussion with this post, or organise in in any special way.  Celtic mythology probably didn't directly save the world but, 1 - It kept the imagination of the Irish fed until some of them could actually start saving the world, and 2 - It's some of what was taught at the early Irish Christian schools, and the Druidic schools before them. Not like the schools Morrissey sang about. It starts going into Phoenicians, who my or may not have had something to do with the Sea people - and/or the Smaller Pugnacious people of Atlantis. Who might have been related to Irish.   The best guess for where Atlantis existed is in NW Africa.  Most Irish came over from the Middle East / Black Sea area.  The Darker ones.  So, there is a recorded, ancient mythology that many Irish descended from Egyptian and Judaic royalty.  Very fanciful, and yet not to be dismissed out of hand.  Also, there were 4-5 different waves or peopling of Ireland, which correspond to different Irish mythologies, or mythological characters.  And, there were dif peoples in Scotland, including the Picts, who may or may not have also been fully Celtic.  We start off with an unrelated political article,..

PS: England's Mesolithic 'Cheddar Man", who lived guesstimately 10,000 years ago, had dark skin and blue eye - a rare combo. Dark skin usually means hotter areas, like the Mediterranean or Africa. But blue eye usually means northern or Arctic. What's this cat doin' all duded up like that? Well, he could have been from a line of sea-farers - with blue eyes to help block the glare of the sea! Or, it could have been a quirk. (Or too much Cheddar). 10,000 is thought to be well before the time of the Phoenicians - but, there still could be a connection. Cheddar man could have been a true Atlantean! And, there are also reports of dark skinned people in Irish graves from the past. But, thousands of years ago, there were many groups of darker skins coming up from Africa, etc.
