Well, in the past, I spent hours on two phones, with my cellphone company, trying to get internet returned to my phone. Well, tonight, it finally worked - and I have internet again! Although I don't use that aspect of the phone for posting, email, etc., as it is tedious in a few ways - (and a security issue) - I could if I needed to. Too tedious to write on tiny phone - but what would be possible would be for me to write out posts offline, then bluetooth those posts to phone, and then make the post via phone. Same with emails - except constantly trying to get docs bluetoothed to the phone would be too much.
Anyway, that's a big reason why I got my REAL wifi repaired to day - (the wifi that was sabotaged by the mafia tree-cutters) - just so I could talk on THAT phone and manipulate the CELLPHONE to get the latter repaired. After all the time an aggravation - finally. And at the last minute, as I leave for Iowa tomorrow. Having internet on phone can be helpful in some emergency sceneria, I imagine. At least it will allow me to read things online, etc., and fill up the long hours of boredom. I don;t think I'll have REAL wifi in Iowa. And no dog to text with. I mean bark to.
Also, today: Picked up van with fixed brake line - and the difference is delightful. Better pedal action. Feel a little safer. And then, took van to get 2 new front tires, which I purchased, using the little credit card they issued me. But when I took another look at the tread on the dry-rotting back tires, I decided to get all 4 tires replaced(!) Hours went by, seemingly, as I waited for them to finish - but then they told me they didn't have 4 of the correct tires. And they sought to bring in the 2 needed extra tires from another store - no luck. Almost were going to get the two done today, and the back two done tomorrow morning, but they couldn't get the proper tires anywhere.
So, they proposed me getting 4 tires which were a little fatter than the proper ones. Meaning they can sometimes rub against the car, in tight turns. I thought that was fine, so they went ahead with that. They look good. Had to rush off, driving away, trying to get home before it was complete nightfall, as it is so bad for me to drive at night. On-coming headlights block out vision of anything else. But, the tires feel pretty strong and solid and, again, add a little extra feeling of safety. Good to know, now, I probably won't blow out on the interstate.
But, time on the tires pushed back work on pulling furniture out of garage and driving it to lockers. Getting the big heavy couch into the van, to sleep on. Or tidying up to leave. And I still need to get to the bank; to the P.O., to the WiFi store, and do the furniture moving. Still cramped for time! I need to leave as early as possible, while there is all this other stuff needing attention. Hopefully, I am not shot down by another migraine. But the CFS wave pattern seems to say the fatigue won't be too bad tomorrow. Will just need to collapse somewhere.
All for now. Thanks for tuning in.
PS - Bald tires were like 10 years old. I think the front ones might have been 2009. I know today is 9/11, but I still say yay for my 2001 van.
