Splash.
Trying to think while also doing something else? Not always a good idea for someone w/ CFS in the morning. Thinking about tomorrow, etc. After getting a few cans together, and also the last of the dog food together, and also the last of the chicken bones together - and after fixing up some decaf mocha for this morning - I set down a mugga mocha on the table by the bed. WHile getting into bed, I pulled up the laptop, and the wire pulled away the mocha, and the whole large mug fell onto the Persian rug below. Oh, woe. I guess the rug also has to go.
When the dog is gone, I can finally wash and put away the last of the rugs. Because I won;t need them to muffle the sound of his paws anymore.
(They can be used in the van, although something firm and solid should go underneath them first. But I don't have time to work on that).
I did give my dog a big long loving hug this morning, filled with alien-sounding chants of magic. He likes when I sing somewhat Native-American / Samoyedic / old-Japanese chant-songs. I didn't do much of that, this time, but will soon. Did you know that some think the first Americans were Japanese?
My dog had a nice long sleep last night, and has been pretty good this morning. After my doubling the gas meds, and starting him back on the Synthroid, (and starting some cartilage in his diet), there is some very small chance that tomorrow's vet visit will end up being a mere health check. But, probably not. We'll see. He's sleeping quite nicely now. At least we can get him to the point where his last days are a little happier. More trouble-free. We'll see.
I was thinking of giving away the several remaining cans of high-quality dog food to the "Goodwill" place around the corner. But then I thought of my nice neighbour, who has yet to help me with this move, if ever. Unfortunately, the latest sibling ultimatum is that I don;t pull up to the front door for unloading, for the sake of the soil, which my expert mowing once helped to loosen, ironically. Maybe they are going to help to haul the heavy stuff the longer distance? Because that neighbour is nowhere to be seen. And, I am disabled. But I don't see any disability ramp.
All said, I am eager to get a little more done soon.
