Well, I had not a terrible day. Kind of recovering, kind of enjoying myself. Two quick naps were better than being hooked up to solar cells. My dog has been weathering the after-effects of the stressed caused by neighbours. Just now, I put some eye-drops in his inflamed eye. (He is surprised how innocuous is this therapy, as opposed to when I spray rubbing alcohol in his ears). After I did this, he remained lying on the kitchen floor, like I had hypnotised of killed him. I don;t know if he was waiting for something more to happen? Or if his hearts felt distressed just from my asking him to lie down? But, he got up alright when I insist. Strange.

Here's more strange. I was putting some boxed emergency blankets in the basement when I noticed all these darkish spots on the concrete floor. They were from some kind of splatter. And, further along were some larger blotches. No indication as to where these came from or how they happened. It did rain yesterday. But I don't see any connexion. Once, I threw an empty bleach bottle down the basement steps, but it burst open when it hit the floor, and some bleach came out and blotched the floor. That blotch never went away. It reminded me of the story of these people who have a face that keeps reappearing on their basement floor, even after they scrub at it or paint over it. My guess, it was probably bleach. Weirdness.

I had popcorn yesterday. And I decided to make extra popcorn, but to burn that batch. So I could use that to help secure the bottoms of a few flower pots. But, that wasn't the problem. The problem was that I added too many burnt and fresh kernels. The air-pop contraption in my little oven isn't perfect. It isn't tight. Some kernels can come out the front or back. And this was the problem. Long story short, there was a little fire. I blew it out, but the whole place got very smokey. And I think this affected my dog for a few moments.

I cleaned out the little oven this morning. I was thinking of baking potatae but I already have potato salad. And I was thinking of dehydrating eggs but I couldn't be bothered. There's still time. 60 eggs waiting to be processed, in various ways. I also had the choice of working outside, but made the right decision that more recovery/relaxation time was necessary.

Early this morning, anticipating that the outside temp would be a sunny 86 degrees, I allowed as much outside air in as possible. When it was 68 inside, and 67 outside, I turned on the central AC, which a sucky AC indeed, which is why I have to do this prepping. I set it at 67 and it has been running all day. The outside temp got to 87 and the inside temp went up to 73, last time I checked. Which is pretty good compared to last summer. But it's still already too high for my dog. It will probably rise to about 76, even as the outside temp drops, because this place is a problem.

Last year, the inside temp would get into the 90s, (despite all the propping - and expense), and this really agitated my dog's illness. Hopefully, the replaced air filter, the tin foil on the front window, and the sun screen by the front door will help a little. What this place needs are white metal awnings along 1.5 sides of the house. Why should they be white metal? Because of the possible threat of an overhead nuclear detonation, with its inflammatory light radiation.

The roof should also be metal, for this reason, and also to block against microwave radiation from Elon Musk's and China's satellites, and from spying and radiation beams from our friendly CIA, or what have you. Seriously. Just having a metal roof would help protect the house from debilitation by an EMP, and also from ambient WiFi radiation. We know that WiFi radiation triggers the clot-shot blood clots to grow.

This is a different time. People should be thinking ahead. If I could, I'd find an underground stream and build a solid pyramid over it, and live in there. Do you know that, in a decade or so, the Earth may experience such a shock that tidal waves could sweep over areas one would never expect? That's why they built the pyramids last time around. The cataclysm of 12,000 years ago - and others thousands of years before that. Thank god there were helpful aliens in those days. These days the aliens just pick at our livers and laugh.

I can enjoy my nightly "spiked" cocoa, still, stripped down to swimming trunks and an A shirt, but my dog is covered in heavy black fur. And it shows.
