In lieu of reggae.

I lost my WORT reggae stream, so I turned a l’autre chanson dans ma tête. Juste une chanson ordinaire, dans votre cœur. And then I turned on Stevie Wonder's, "Songs In The Key Of Life," one of the greatest 'pop' albums of all time. I think this album stands as a tribute to that bicentennial year of 1976, just showing how far the country had come. Now of course, we have been sliding backwards. And so that's one reason I am posting it.

This album has everything I love in music: melody, rhythm, soul, funk, jazz, structure and playfulness, exaltation, real life, struggle, hope, dance-ability, great lyrics, a smooth and precise voice, bending notes, blue notes, half notes, and the whole album is put together organically. Just love it. So easy to sing to. In fact, long past the 70's, two friends of mine found out I liked this album too, and so we all went to the girl's apartment in Milwaukee, and spent the night singing together, to this and other albums. It brought some joy inside my tears.

The masterpiece, "Songs In The Key Of Life."

Everything Stevie Wonder has done has been Supreme. At least a lot of white people think so. I think the black guy across the street first tried to get my attention, months ago, by blasting this album, lol. Stevie Wonder's conceptual masterpiece was also incredible, but more as food for thought, if you're a plant. Here it is:
