"The Clash," "Give 'Em Enough Rope," and "London Calling," were punk rebel albums of the Clash. They all had some good songs.  Each one was less punk than the last.

But my favourite Clash album has always been "Sandinista!" It has more variety and fun. More rhythms, especially reggae. And it is accessible pop. Not to say it isn't good, sophisticated rock - it is! I believe it was a three-record album! Here's how it starts off -

This was the song that got me to play Clash right now, and also to post.  I said, "Do your fine thang," to my dog, which lead to, "Peas porridge hot!" - and so.
