It's always intriguing when I see some LJ person from the past suddenly show up in my journal and then delete themselves. Is it because they finally realise what they are, but only feel to take the easy way out. Turning cancel culture against themselves?
This time, it was the great gneu, towards whom I had once made overtures. But I guess that person was too leftist to stand the sound of his or her own head exploding.
Here is my note-to-self regarding that person - nope, looks like I can;t copy and paste that now. It said he was a boring overly leftist mailman. Interestingly, this account was not just deleted but also purged!?! What was that?! Did he suddenly threaten to go postal and so LJ deleted him? How can someone's account get purged but the person shows up in your journal? It gets purged the instant after that? I thought there was a year's waiting period? Wtf is going on w/ this?
It's sad that he got deleted. I saw hope for him. Dementia-like boring as he was. I just don't understand how he can show up in my jnl and suddenly he is not only deleted but purged?!! This is odd. Did LJ see that he threatened to kill me or something?? Makes no sense.
Maybe what happened was that he was stringing along with me add as his friend, and then when he deleted his account, then this sowed up in my LJ notices. Maybe that is why the notice did not get to me until a year after the deletion, when the post actually became purged - ?
