I am just too dead tired to get anything done.  Third day in a row?  I remember last year, I kept meaning to seal up the windows all through the winter, and then it was already spring, and so.  Meaning my CFS only cost me a few hundred dollars more in gas heating

I throw blankets up if my winter curtains don’t do the trick.

I can see that being a nice quick fix, but there's air moving through. Cooold air. I might end up doing that, except I am trying to keep my remaining comforters, etc., in storage. Plus, the concept of moving down to the basement for any emergency pretty much has them all on reserve.

Things would be better if the evergreens weren't in the wrong places. Then summer comes and there are no deciduous trees where they should be.

I should do the window sealing this year... throwing money out the window! My dad would say... meanwhile he never replaced the window glass on our broken door and the replaceable seals were gone and tattered...🤔

Well, he was right. My damn dog refuses to get the concept of, "Stop walking in and out of the kitchen," - it's like a fridge door being constantly opened and closed.

Dad was a little inconsistent, but my guess is that you liked him a lot.
