The Strangeness of Staffordshire.
My dog is acting up again. I normally wake up at 4:am (my time), but that was moved back to 2:am, and then to midnight, and now he is waking me up at 10:30pm. I can't start my day at 10:30, and this circadian chaos is making my CFS worse. I don't know how I can deal with another week of this, or if I'll be well enough to finally take him to the vet. More later.
I recalled the amazing story of two girls who met each other by chance, and were just as good as identical twins. Bizarre coincidence, that some say is paranormal, and some say is statistical. That's the realm I enjoy. It's like, at what point does a dog smell, and at what point does the dog know? How far are dreams real, and how far is reality a dream? Fascination rules.
I know I have posted about that story once herein, and probably referred to the (NPRI) RadioLab episode describing it. (Or is that WNYC?) I searched my tag for RadioLab, and did not find the story. But, I thought you just might checking out the posts this tag embraces, as they may be deemed to be of the interesting nature. Go HERE. And peruse the site, by all means, HERE!
I discovered that the story starts off in Staffordshire, a county in England. It occurred to me that I have, now, dug up three very strange things involving Staffordshire - (a land not too far removed from Camelot). Which I find odd. (Something tells me there may have been several crop circle incidents in the county, as well). I am also reminded of a video I watched recently regarding strange things in India, where one town had a bizarre abundance of twins. Most likely, this aberration might be explained by one word: Monsanto.
So, here are the three strange Staffordshire things:

I just thought it was odd - some kind of pattern emerging - because I tend to see patterns - after all my years of shortwave radio listening and drugs - because after all - my intelligence is all - so artificial
