"You're Number 47, Have A Look..."

Jul 16, 2022 04:25

I am lucky enough to be up, again, at the preferred time, 4:am (my time), for the third time in a row.  This helps me possibly get things done, usually by around 3:pm (my time).  And I am having hot decaf mocha, which I prefer over cold, as it is not too warm and humid in here at the moment.  I do have my fan on, though.  And my thumb hurts.  But I awoke with good voice tone, and a little weight gain.  Singing, "Femme Fatale..." by German singer, Nico.  (FULL ALBUM).

I had a dream where I was in college again, in Madison.  I wasn't younger, although I had a good haircut that made me look a little younger.  None of this CFS thinning at the front.  This was not one of my back-in-college "nightmares" where I totally ran out of money and didn't know what to do.  This time, everything was good, and I was ready to plan my classes.  Although, this time, my politics were not completely in jibe with Radison's course offerings, so, I wasn't sure what to do about that.

I was thinking I should go out to the Union, sitting, planning my classes out in the open.  Because, maybe I could meet people early on in th school year.  Which is the best time to do it.  Because as the year goes on, people get too busy and jittery to meet new people.  Back when I was actually in college, I met and hung out with a lot of people.  I mean a lot.  But most of them were from the restaurant gang.  I had two gfs associated with that gang, in fact, who then moved into dorms.  So I visitted them at dif times.  But it wasn't really like I knew someone in college.  And I had my own dorm-mates, but I didn't especially like them.  So, we never hung out.  I just never ever felt comfortable in college, with anyone, ever.

There was this one blonde girl who would sometimes walk past me at a certain time of the day.  She would be headed down Bascom Hill towards the Union, and I would be headed in the opposit direction.  So, she made a point of catching my eye as we "passed."  We never passed close by, she was always a distance away, brushed along with the normal crowd of students walking.  She was all alone, quietly calling out to me.  I never got to the point of meeting her, and soon saw her walking with some other college guy, and that was that.  A possible love of my life, gone forever.  Just like all the hates of my life.

In the stupid movie, "Back To School," Rodney Dangerfield haunts the UW campus I once terrorised.

Back in the dream, some musician guy showed up, doing a piece which was his own stuff mixed with the Clash, mainly, "The Magnificent Seven!" which is a great song - also has an extended version.  (MIA covered Paper Planes, and here are other covers of Clash).  So, when the part of his mix came, where he shouted, "Magnificent!" we threw up our hands in a rebel yell.  And, I was thinking, "Maybe this means there will be a fun, radical time for Madison now!"  Something to look forward to.

The performer and his mx was partly Jakob Dylan (Three Marlenas), and Harry Styles...

Harry Styles is a popular UK musician, born of The X Factor, sounding a little like The Black Keys, and a little like what Coldplay used to be, but with newer, poppy flourishings.  Here is his hit from the album, Fine Line, (2019), reminiscent of my tandem pursuit of that blonde hottie way back when, as it was.

PS: It's Saturday in Madison again! (I treated myself to a bagel half w/ garlic salt, cream cheese and a tomato slice. So good! I haven't had cream cheese or a bagel in months. (The fat and starch are bad, and I advise everyone to steer clear of these, of beer, of Polish sausages, and basically of Wisconsin in general). The cheese was low fat Neufchatel, and the bagel was an Everything Bagel from Aldi. Those Everything Bagels last for years in the fridge if they are double bagged)!
