Song Similarities - This is a free-rolling series.

I like song similarities.  Some of you might have just about missed it, but that's part of what THIS POST was about.

For some reason, "Stop Meh..." by the Smiths, is now haunting this journal continuously.  If you want it to stop then pay your taxes.

My brain is very good at linking me into other songs which sound like the main song I am presently into.  Or, there might be some meaning related.  This is why I make such awesome music mixes.  Well, I decided that a song that might have inspired, "Stop Meh...", could have been the Beatles, "Eight Days A Week."  The whole jangle guitar rock thing.  And my brain also started in on Taylor Swift's, "Wildest Dreams," which has some kind of similarity to, "Stop Meh..."  The chords, mainly.  And the rapid, staccato lines of lyrics.  And the climbing lead-in.  I will write more about, "Stop Meh..." later.  But here is the progression of similarities, right here...

A few of you may not know that Taylor Swift is on my Most-Favoured Celebrity list.  I really think she is a class-act, except when she wears freaking weird black angular dresses on late night talk shows.  Something is happening to her and it is wrong.  But, I still love her, and she is clearly the best human sex doll that exists.  I mean, really.  She actually looks like a sex doll.  I should be so lucky.  Wildest dreams, ah eh, haaaa.  This is a great song and a great video.
