My brain has become one with a boring machine.
It can be good to just stare at the TV, when my mind is really incapable of anything better. Can't sleep, can't write, can't do dishes. Look at the TV. But, there are some shows that do command my time and attention. I watch, "Family Guy," every evening. And if I ever catch, "I Survived," "Monk," or, "Locked Up Abroad," I will probably watch as long as they want me to. Lucilly, I don't have cable, so I am not too far gone. Here is a rough list of shows which I like currently, i.e, the only shows I'll watch...
Family Guy
I Survived
Monk
Locked Up Abroad
Star Trek (Original)
Saturday morning science shows
Larry The Cable Guy does stuff
America's assorted funniest videos/
Weather gone viral or whatever that's called
House
America's Top Chef
Early morning show featuring a small town

I really don't seem to like any new network shows! As you can see, I like most anything about survival!! Or thinking and adventure. Often, the hottest chiquitas are on Telemundo but I never watch them because I don't speak chiquita. I did see a movie on Telemundo which I did go to see maybe back in 2017(?) when it was at the downtown theatre. I left my dog at home to see a movie about how a man became friends with the first friendly wolf. It wasn't the best movie, and some of the CGI was tacky, but I liked it. It was called, "ALPHA." Let's see if I can find that for free for thee..
HERE. It wasn't as bad as 10,000 BC.
Last night, I caught some of an episode of, "Locked Up Abroad," which is the point of this post. And I thought it was amazing, because the guy starts off all ethical and insistent that he will not accede to the set-up, and then he goes through all kinds of trials where he almost escapes and - woops - back to jail he goes! I mean, the poor guy just couldn't get a break! It reminded me of my life except much more graphic. He ends up losing his innocence and being tortured by PTSD nightmares after he finally leaves the prison. By the way, this prison in Bali is apparently a hotbed of such traps. They lure mainly Aussie tourists in, accusing them of carry drugs, and then try to extort money out of them and, if they don't get it, they send them to prison. The
Kerobokan Prison.
Here are some instances of that, and also of them being released because it was a scam. I think this episode belongs posted in this journal, because it relates to the struggle to preserve innocence against all odds.

I could only find the show on audio so
HERE IT IS. (Looks like maybe two shows in one).
And here is an episode where a guy is inspired by his lovely girlfriend to escape from a horrible Mexican prison by dressing as a Chiquita. And here is the episode of the pinhead fool who ultimately realises that he should limit his ambitions to something simple like fixing lawnmowers. Bali, by the way, is actually a paradise on Earth, except for this nonsense and equally rational volcanoes.
