Main thing I did today was get some recyclables together and put them out by the garage in a tall thin bin. Couched the odd bin in a nook away from winds from west and south. But it has probably blown away by now. Winds are at 60mph. Big things are slamming into the house. Although there are no very nearby trees to my southwest, there are many trees around, and it doesn't seem possible that this wind will continue until 9:am tomorrow without some damage occurring to this house. Unlike my past abode, this building is not protected by nearby buildings. I am next to a large southern window, but below the ledge when I lie back. I hope I don't have to go downstairs with dog. I am already needing to deal with mousetraps since I ended up sleeping too much today. Awoke again to this storm, midnight. Don't understand how so many airplanes are flying around.
