Thank you very much. I am doing lots of scattered naps, and gradually improving.

I've never had auditory hallucinations. How do they start for you? I had visual hallucinations after over-drinking, and they were helpful in my understanding reality better. I refer to them as my visions, just fyi.

I hope you are feeling better by now.

Glad you are improving.

The hallucinations come and go randomly. I have had schizo affective disorder which is schizophenia plus a mood disorder since I was 37. Its hereditary my nana had schizophenia for most of her life.

I am feeling much better. Thank you.

I did major in psychology, but never really focused on that disorder, maybe because it is a confusing crossover. But I find it interesting now. And I would guess that it is not a rare diagnosis. Is your mood disorder bipolar? Is it possible that the mood disorder could ever be worked on separately from the schizophrenia?

I have CFS, aka M.E., where most victims also have depression. Some depression might just be due to a depression of energy, but much depression can come from being stuck with a chronic illness, and so that can be worked on separately, sometimes. I imagine that being raised in a family where there is some schizophrenia would cause some mood issues apart from schizophrenia - ?

No its not bipolar and it gets treated together with meds.

My nanas illness didnt really affect me, she spent a lot of the time in hospital.
