Dear Doctor Z,
My last visit to you may have been as long ago as 2017. I still have CFS. I was quite ill for a few years. Lately, I have been limitting my activity, as by ordering groceries via Instacart, a wonderful thing.
Thank you for you correspondence of last year. I seem to recall that I was not able to see you, and to do so would have required setting up one or two visits with my Primary first. (A lot of work for a little savings on buying supplements).
And, I have been sheltering in place, due to the monster coronaviruses. This entire, global situation is deplorable. And I see, very well, why don't like Dr. Fauci so much.
Due to a change of ownership of the house in which I live, I am having to move very soon. You might understand that this is a great trial for me, not only the packing and moving, but hoping to get a driver's license, a vehicle, a new place. It's a lot to do in one month.
It is possible that I maybe be seeing Dr. X soon, (see enclosed). Arranging that meeting will be difficult, and so arranging a meeting with you would be possible, but less likely. Hopeful, though.
I was thinking that it might be helpful to me if you could write out a brief letter, to-whom-it-may-concern, stating that I am very ill, that you have seen me, etc. I am asking this because there is 100% uncertainty regarding my future. There may be situations where I might have to produce such evidence. And it would be helpful in approaching a new doctor, etc., wherever I might be.
Personally, I am thinking of getting in a van, resting when I can, driving when I can, and mainly avoiding people. All the attacks from neighbours here, and the deliberate banging from the downstairs tenant, and the lack of help from the house owner or the management company, along with the entire state of the country, including COVID, has me very soured to being around people.

I was thinking about that misanthropic paragraph. That's what got me to post this. And it occurred to me: Of course, I have been enduring this illness seriously limitting me, and stupid people who keep messing with me - of course, what I need now are relatives on a mission to tell me what to do. Boy are they sharp.
