dazed yet not confuzzled
My LJ is etreeemly slow, right now. So, I'm not going to be around until that changes. I just wanted to mention:
Do you know what is a really good soundtrack? 2017, "This Is Us"! I am sure most of you will love it, and it is totally LJ. Check it out.
How did I find it? I don't watch TV, gladly. I'm sure, "This Is Us," is a great series. But, I was looking up things that George Harrison influenced, or played in. One of those was Bad Company's, "(Can't Live if Living is) Without You," which was better covered by Neilson, and also by Mariah Carrey. That brought me to this soundtrack, which also includes a Ringo song, mainly written by George. Beyond those songs, it is really great.
PS - I have been trying to watch, "Dazed and Confused." This movie starts on an insane note that, somehow, all new HS people are hazed. That just never happened. Maybe in Arkansas. This helps undermine the entire movie. However. This movie has one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard. Fantastic. Plus, the (only) other thing that this movie has going for it is the panoply of 1976 clothes.
I should als0o mention that they go back in time to say that females were complete wanton whores, looking for abuse. That's not history. They keep doing the same thing today, but it is not history.
This is a movie to keep, because it has three future stars - and fantastic music. Otherwise? Completely sucks! You can get through this movie by siding with the girly boy. Great music, great clothes, stupid movie.
