Web is getting darker and darker...
This morning, I am having super-ultra problems with my computer/net. The wheels just spin on into infinity and nothing comes up. This is the same old infection all over again. In order to view any page, I have to log off, and then the page will appear whilst offline, in bare-bones form. I have to keep logging off, for every page I want to view.
These days, my Firefox is allowing extraneous trackers, etc., through: like yandex.ru, doubleclick, etc. These are things I kept out w/ my firewall, but also with my browser add-ons, like Ghostery, Ad-Block, and Privacy Badger. Some months ago, Firefox removed all my add-ons, and so these drags are getting through. And - I can no longer access new add-ons to download. At all. Is this happening to you?
Even as Firefox boasts that it is more privacy-robust than ever, it is pulling this crap. ALSO, it no longer allows people to run RSS feeds, unless they get an add-on for it - but wait, how can I do that if I can no longer get add-ons? Many RSS feeds serve alternative websites, like alt-left and alt-right sites, or sites that offer alternative health ideas than those of Big Pharma, and so on. This is not by accident. FF has joined the Corporate Internet fad of controlling more and more content, or thought. It began with FB and YT droppign Alex Jones, and now it is everywhere. Just wait until you read my post about Google's interference in the 2016 elections.
