Stephen Hawking's Children and Colleagues Discuss Physicist's Final Book, Legacy
In his final book, released Oct. 16, Stephen Hawking tackles big questions about the universe, delving into physics, cosmology, the existence of God and the future direction of humanity.

Stephen Hawking's Final Book Says There's 'No Possibility' of God in Our Universe
Is there room for God in the endless, expanding universe? In his final book, Stephen Hawking says no.

Stephen Hawking on Aliens & Artificial Intelligence -“Treating AI as Science Fiction Would Potentially Be Our Worst Mistake Ever”...

“We should plan ahead,” warned physicist Stephen Hawking who died last March, 2018, and was buried next to Isaac Newton. “If a superior alien civilization sent us a text message saying, ‘We’ll arrive in a few decades,’ would we just reply, ‘OK, call us when you get here, we’ll leave the lights on’? Probably not, but this is more or less what has happened with AI.”

“While primitive forms of artificial intelligence developed so far have proved very useful, I fear the consequences of creating something that can match or surpass humans,” observed Stephen Hawking. “Humans, who are limited by slow biological evolution, couldn’t compete and would be superseded. And in the future AI could develop a will of its own, a will that is in conflict with ours.”

In short, Hawking concluded, “the advent of super-intelligent AI would be either the best or the worst thing ever to happen to humanity. The real risk with AI isn’t malice, but competence. A super-intelligent AI will be extremely good at accomplishing its goals, and if those goals aren’t aligned with ours we’re in trouble. You’re probably not an evil ant-hater who steps on ants out of malice, but if you’re in charge of a hydroelectric green-energy project and there’s an anthill in the region to be flooded, too bad for the ants. Let’s not place humanity in the position of those ants.”

So, you all know about the fast radio bursts from distant Space, by now, yes?  There is not yet a certain explanation for these.  Scientists are baffled.  And some are thinking that these may be coming from intelligent aliens.  Of course, that's what people say every time there is observed some new, unexplaned phenomenon from space.  But, that doesn't mean we can rule out the possibility that fast radio bursts may be coming from livign beings - if we did, we would be stupid, and possibly roadkill.

Lately, there has been discussion over the need to look for, "technosignatures," from space.  This comes at a time where NASA has been told to fit ALL of its craft with life-searching equipment; when Trump has called for a 'Space Force'; when the budget for an agency invoved in searching for ET life has been more than doubled; when we have heard strange 'signals' from the Uamuamua asteroid, and other bodies; when we have detected inexplicable neutrinos issuing from beneath Antarctica; when we have heard strange hums coming out of the plant in various places; when we have seen years of bizarre flashes, booms and, 'trumpets,' and SO ON.  Some are saying that these fast radio bursts - and more - might be technosignatures from alien beings.

Russian scientists were studying what they thought were strange emissions from from the collision of two stars - when they decided that was not what they were studying.  It was a strange collection of hums and blips, which you can search and hear online.  The scientists stated that it sounds like an armada - an armada of ships - coming towards us.  And then, just a few days ago, Russian scientists decided to stop calling fast radio bursts, 'fast radio bursts.'  Instead, they are now calling them space-sail blasts.  Radio blasts directed at sails on ships to propel them forward.

You don't know, these days, whether something like this might be some kind of joke, but I will tell you this: If alien civilisations were detected in space, who do you think would make it public, these days?  That's right.  Not the United States.

Recall my posts: "SUNSPOT": [see tag] A solar observatory in Arizona was oddly shut down by the FBI, at an unusual time, as well.  It was later stated that the observatory had been shut down due to pedophilia on a janitor's laptop.  I noted that this explanation appeared false, (but never posted so).  The observatory was later started up again.  But, get this: In recent days, the Mars Rover, the Hubble Telescope, and the Chandra Observatory have also been shut down!  At least two of these three were shut down, "due to a SAFE MODE ERROR."  What else?!

YouTube was shut down.  Search it.  This shutdown came immediately after one fellow posted that, "something is headed for the moon!"  When YouTube started back up, that video was gone.  (In case you have doubts that YouTube, etc., might act in such a benevolent BIG BROTHER way, then you need to lean more about the great PURGE that has been going on, against political voices, especially conservatives, by YouTube, Twitter, Google, Facebook, etc.  It's real).

Latter videos and testimonies asserted that an explosive flash had been seen on the moon, following a small swarm of bright objects, and etc.  I remember hearing of a flash being recorded on the moon, maybe a year ago, as well.  Are these lunar meteors, the 'government' doesn't want us to know about?  Or do we have bases on the unseen side of the moon, where skirmishes are occurring?  Or could some alien force really be starting up, messing with us?  I can think of reasons why the 'government' might prefer to keep any of these three situations secret.  But, like Hawking, if it is happening, I think we need to know - we to know what IT is.

Why might aliens be headed this way?  Well, we have been shooting off radio waves for a hundred years or so.  Now, we are shooting off an exponentially increasing load of 4G and 5G WiFi MICROWAVE RADIATION into space, (and into our genes, and into the nuclear core of the Earth).  If there is at least one advanced civilisation out there, thousands or millions of years ahead of us in technology, YOU DON'T THINK THEIR AI CANNOT HEAR THAT?

Strange things happened on this planet, before 12,700 years ago - and probably earlier - perhaps even millions of years ago.  It is far from not impossible that aliens have already been here.  And archaeological sites and art suggest that this is so.  It is possible that they executed mining, teaching, and a grand stabilisation of the planet's energy fields.  Such are topics for other posts.  The point is, these hypothetical beings might be returning, for some reason.  Perhaps to save us from ourselves - from global warming - or from the perturbing magnetic fields or the heating core.

A few years ago, something was discovered in Antarctica.  Then, Barack Obama made a trip down there.  So did some kind of Russian Pope.  Buzz Aldren was on his way down there as well, but he died in transit.  Is it possible that, through retreating ice, we had stumbled upon some ancient structure or craft, which set of a beacon into space, to these aliens - and now they are returning to fix things again?  I am not at all hoping for this or fantasizing for this, I am hypothesising.  Perhaps the ice retreated to an extent where it simply then triggered a beacon, on its own, representing: "Better get back here!  They're melting the icecaps!"

Well, I don't know.  I do know very unusual stuff is happening.  And, one would think that, at a time when very unusual things are happening on the planet, such as mass extinctions, then the chanmce that very unusual things may descend from space indeed goes up.  By a lot.  But, you recall my cursory post on our planet's probable nuclear reactor core?  In that post, I rather discounted Clyde Lewis' ide that the asteroid, Uamuamua, may be monitoring us, and then beaconing signals out to a distant civilisation.  Now, I take this into the realm of consideration.

I am not contradicting myself.  I am looking at various hypotheses, which may or may not be compatible with each other.  This is called being scientific - with incomplete evidence.  It used to be called, "Naturalistic Observation," and was once the mother of all science.  I ask you, what else can we do, when the instruments of space research are being shut down - and the Titans of the Internet are shutting out perfectly reasonable voices and hypotheses, calling them fake news, hate, or of improper tone?

Theirs is the bathwater.

We are the babies.
