Unlike plagues of the dark ages or contemporary diseases (which) we do not yet understand, the modern plague of overpopulation is soluble by means we have discovered and with resources we possess. What is lacking is not sufficient knowledge of the solution, but universal consciousness of the gravity of the problem and the education of the billions

Dr King had four kids. I'm pretty sure Dr. Erlich had one. Isimov had two. Don't know about Bartlett or Agent Smith, but Hugo Weaving is listed as having two. I could never take Al Gore seriously as an 'environmentalist' because he had four kids, the youngest being the only male. The Japanese are doing the birth-rate solution and being told they are a doomed nation. John Bolton has one child, but seems to favor a military solution (death rate) though all the wars in history have proven ineffective. Also, Agent Smith needs to go back to biology class because humans aren't the only species to follow the overshoot/collapse scenario or the devastate /move on.
