There is so much behind this picture - alcohol/ism, warfare, gluten sensitivity, low vitamins A or C, cramped streets leading to bullying, grain and money capital encouraging psychopaths, religious magical authoritarianism, cholera, trade, invention, pyramids, slavery, language, etc., etc., I just have no time to start on any one angle, so I'll just let you read the article, and catch me on the flip side. But, just think about it. After we civilised, and culled a whole lot of people, we became slighter and slighter, like toy poodles dependent on their masters. That is not the course of a healthy, robust species. So OF COURSE agricultural civilisation was a bugger.
