I sometimes wonder if I should wear a ring just to avoid certain situations. I've been in a relationship for 16 years and have no plans on looking outside of it, but because I don't wear a ring dudes assume I'm available.
Hey baby, I always thought you were available - so give me a ring, yo,
No but seriously, you should - wear a ring. But tell your guy it doesn't mean your married, I guess.
I learnt martial arts when I was a kid so I don't have to worry... jk
Anyway, at least I did look for her ring. And I don't think she is in a relationship, but she could be. She's always been nice to me, but sometimes its hard to tell when people are flirting or if they're just nice. I always assume the latter, because I'm always nice too. So, maybe I was dense re: her, and maybe she's mad now cuz she thought I was flirting. Argh.
I've learned being nice can get you unwanted attention. I said hi to one of my neighbors once, and he started following me home every day in his truck making u-turns and giving me weird looks as he kept passing me. That went on for a month until I had the police talk to him.
I once had a customer that I would talk to a lot when he came in. I though we were just being friendly and having nice conversation. He thought I totally wanted to screw him in an alley. He even suggested the alley. He seemed completely flabbergasted when I turned him down.
I get a marriage proposal pretty much every time I ride a Greyhound bus.
It's funny because I'm a pretty ordinary looking girl. Maybe that makes me more approachable.
Well - this is kinda mildly shocking. Sorry to hear that. Really, you must have some kind of grace in your body movements as well as just being nice. And I was thinking the same thing as I began reading your last paragraph: "Maybe that makes me more approachable." - But, maybe you are cuter than you think, huh, right, huh? You know, I never knew I was good-looking until I went to college, because no one ever had the decency to tell me, lol. Vile curs.
Listen, it is a given that people over here in Illinois are nuts, and I could write a book - woops I kinda already have... But I also came to the conclusion that there are a lot of oddballs in the Northwest as well, much as I love it otherwise. I mean, I read so many news stories about crazy people things going on there.

I'm sorry... did I read this post correctly? I must read it carefully because you said... I think ...that you are preparing to eat your dog. ....

lol - I throw in jokes like that to see if you folks are awake. I would never eat my dog unless ordered to do so...

I might have once said to you that my non-fiction is as strange as fiction...
