Baba Vanga!
Grandmother Vanga (Bulgarian: баба Ванга) (31 January 1911 - 11 August 1996), born Vangeliya Pandeva Dimitrova (Вангелия Пандева Димитрова), known after her marriage as Vangelia Gushterova (Вангелия Гущерова), was a blind Bulgarian mystic, clairvoyant, and herbalist, who spent most of her life in the Rupite area in the Kozhuh mountains Bulgaria.[5][6][7] Millions of people around the world believed she possessed paranormal abilities.[8]
According to her own testimony, a turning point in her life occurred when a 'tornado' allegedly lifted her into the air and threw her in a nearby field. She was found after a long search. Witnesses described her as very frightened, and her eyes were covered with sand and dust, she was unable to open them because of the pain. There was money only for a partial operation to heal the injuries she had sustained,[12] This resulted in a gradual loss of sight.

Editor101's note: I recently managed to watch, "Minority Report," all the way through. The police "Pre-Crime" programme, allowing them to predict and catch people before they commit crimes, was based on the psychic premonitions of three clairvoyants in a tub. If one of them didn't agree in their predictions, with the other two, then their whole prediction was invalid. Kinda democratic, predicting what the future would be. The point is that no one psychic person has the corner on WHAT WILL BE. However, if you consider that there are billions and billions of people on the planet, there are bound to be certain people who are good at predicting futures, in their vague, dreamy ways - better than your average Joe - just by chance. But that does not mean that everything they say will come true.
There are physical, sociological, and statistical dynamics which can conspire to make certain people more likely to predict futures. Any of you who have been following the ideas of theoretical and quantum physics, (as well as my own), understand that the universe is far more weird than we generally assume it to be, in our daily lives. So, some of you already know that "time" is a local illusion; that particles can be entangled across billions of light-years; that dimensions and world-lines can bleed into each other; that we observers influence our realities, and so on. Therefore, it is not impossible that there may be psychics in our world. The, "paranormal," merely means the REALITY we have not yet learnt to understand or measure sufficiently.
That said, there are prophesies which never come to pass, just as mistakes are made in normal life. Some will come to pass. Some can be changed. "You can choose." Everything we do, when it comes down to every subatomic atom in our sphere, is a haze of placebo effects - a superstate. It just takes a few atoms, and then a world, to bring particles out of their weirdness, and collapse them into LOGICAL, TIMELY SENSE, which seems to us to be fully shorn of all quantum, psychic, placebo weirdness - but it never is. The more we impose order or control, the more the weirdness back-lashes and we die soon enough, lol.
So, the way to fathom what might or might not be a valid prediction or prophesy is to compare it to others, made by other people and sciences. Put it into bigger scenarios. Compare it to alternate befores and afters. For example, both Baba Vanga and Edgar Cayce predicted that the poles would be shifting - and sciences, and other observers, are now suggesting that this is possibly occurring now. Or, at some points in Baba Vanga's prophesies of the distant future, she speaks of artificial suns alighting the dark side of the planet. But this only makes sense if the Earth stands still. Such does not seem possible! But she also states that the Earth's orbit changes, early on, which no one interprets with confidence, which could possibly mean that the Earth stands still. While most of her prophesies seem absurd, we must try to get what we can out of them, and hold these forth as HYPOTHESES.
Many prophets have predicted problems with the sun, including at Fatima, and it is possible that such is occurring. But - this post here is not meant to be a full discussion of these things. I merely want to introduce these topics, at the beginning of this year. Wouldn't that be wild if 2017 was even worse than 2016?! And just WAIT 'til we get to 2023! Believe it or not, Baba Vanga's loopy prophesies take us all the way up to 5079: The End of the World! Oh what fun!

Bimini Road and Atlantis

In 1938, Edgar Cayce predicted that: “A portion of the temples may yet be discovered under the slime of ages and sea water near Bimini…Expect it in ’68 or ’69 - not so far away.” The Bimini Road was discovered in 1968 and Cayce said it was the “rising of Atlantis.” Many people believe the Bimini Road is actually a portion of Atlantis and Edgar Cayce was correct in his prediction.
He described Atlantis as being an ancient civilization of equal size to Europe, and having much superior technology. Cayce also said Atlantis disappeared somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean some 10,000 years ago. He went on to say Atlantis went into three major periods of division, the first two occurring around 15,600 B.C. The mainland divided into islands, which Cayce named Poseida, Og, and Aryan.
He also said the people of Atlantis built giant laser-like crystals for power plants which caused destruction of the land. Cayce blamed the final destruction of the land and their culture on greed and lust. Lastly, he said there was a large migration of Atlanteans to Egypt and that the sinking of the last remnants of Atlantis were due to the Biblical Flood of Noah.

Deaths of Two Presidents

In 1939, Edgar Cayce predicted the deaths of two presidents, saying: “You are to have turmoil - you are to have strife between capital and labor. You are to have a division in your own land, before you have the second of the Presidents that next will not live through his office … a mob rule!”
On April 1945, President Franklin D. Roosevelt died in office. Cayce went on to say:
“Unless there is more give and take, consideration for those who produce, with better division of the excess profits from labor, there must be greater turmoil in the land.”
President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas in November 1963.

Edgar Cayce predicted the fall of communism and the collapse of the Soviet Union. He said: “[Through Russia], comes the hope of the world. Not in respect to what is sometimes termed Communism or Bolshevism - no! But freedom - freedom! That each man will live for his fellow man. The principle has been born there. It will take years for it to be crystallized; yet out of Russia comes again the hope of the world.”
The Soviet Union dissolved as a nation in 1991, abandoned Communism, and instituted economic and political freedom.

In 1924, Cayce predicted the Stock Market would crash in 1929 and also taught his clients how to prepare for the crash and how to play the bull market. His clients did not pay attention to him and lost all they had when the Stock Market crashed.
He also foresaw the Great Depression, which he said the Stock Market Crash was the trigger for, and said it would lift in the spring of 1933 - it did.

Edgar Cayce predicted in January 1934 that Adolf Hitler would rise in power to reign over Germany. Cayce stated that “imperialism is entering.” Then, in August 1935, he predicted Hitler would remain in power until it will “come as an overthrow or an outside war.”

Cayce predicted in 1932 that the Jews would return to Israel and advised the Jews to regard the anti-Semitism in Europe as the time to fulfill the biblical prophecy for them to return.
The nation of Israel was then re-established in May 1948, as Cayce predicted, which was then followed by war between Israel and the Arab countries surrounding it.

Alliance Between the US and Russia
During the time of the Soviet Union, Edgar Cayce predicted that Russia would one day be an ally of the United States. He said: “…for changes are coming, this may be sure - an evolution or revolution in the ideas of religious thought. The basis of it for the world will eventually come out of Russia. Not communism, no! But rather that which is the basis of the same as the Christ taught - his kind of communism.”
The prediction came true after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, which Cayce also predicted.

Shift of the Earth’s Poles

Edgar Cayce described the concept of the shifting of the pole as a result of the crust of the Earth moving independently from the core to bring a different surface area over the spin axis in the late 1920s and early 1930s. This process has received more and more attention by geophysicists.
He predicted that changes to the Earth’s surface would begin some time between 1958 and 1998. The cause of the changes being the shift in the world’s magnetic poles around the year 2000. Cayce said when this occurs, it would bring reversals in the world’s climate: “…where there has been a frigid or semi-tropical climate, there will be a more tropical one, and moss and fern will grow.”
According to NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, something changed the Earth’s gravitational field which moved the magnetic poles closer together in 1998. This confirms Cayce’s prediction of a pole shift.

His Own Death

Imagine having the ability to predict your own death - Edgar Cayce did. His visions warned him that he should not use his psychic abilities more than twice a day or serious health problems would occur. Cayce was rather well-known and received thousands of requests. He ignored the warnings and went on with the readings.
On January 1, 1945, Edgar Cayce predicted he would be buried in four more days. He died of a stroke on January 3, 1945 and is buried in Hopkinsville, Kentucky where he was born.
Now, go out there and prove them wrong! Right?
