'hookman' is brought to you by parking, which is illegal. and badass shotguns with salt rounds, which are also possibly illegal... although only really when pointed at cops in the middle of the woods at night.
this episode is like a good ol' psa commercial: if you go off with a boy alone bad things will happen. as in, he will test your boundaries by trying to get into that shirt your skank roommate told you to wear, and then when he goes to see what that mysterious noise was, he will be gutted by the ghost of Frank the Fisherman, in a floppy hat.
as for the girly-girl: i do appreciate when they find good screamers (this is a horror-esque show after all). and a little puppy love for sam is always nice. so she gets a thumbs up.
and hey! did anyone else notice they parked the impala in front of a fire hydrant?!!!
