Mmmm... summertime.
Well! Updates have really come few and far between. But, as I am sitting here in my living room watching two dogs fight/play in front of me, I figured I could do something productive. In explaination, my mom is dog-sitting her friend's dog named Willow... who is a sweetie, but seriously... she and Elli just keep running around. It's driving me nuts. And let's not forget how allergic I am...
That aside, it's summer! I took my last final on Thursday and then packed up all my stuff over to the East Side... then took the bare essentials back home to my parent's home. Gah, being back here is ridiculous. I mean, it's all pretty and whatnot but it makes me feel so restless. I'm used to being able to step out my door and being involved in something... and that's how I like it.
This summer is going to be a full one. For the first two months I'm lviing by myself on the east side of Madison in my brother's apartment...then in August our lease starts and I'll be moving in with Eric, Kevin, Dale, Nick, and Tyler. God... help me. That is going to be one stinky boy apartment. I can't decide if I should be traditional girl and femininize the place up - arrange pretty flowers... hang pictures of kittens in flower pots... or if I should just abandon my estrogen all together and invent in some steak.
That aside, I'm working on campus this summer for SOAR. I'm so excited... right now I work in an advising office but don't actually get the opportunity to advise... and now I do. It was a really tough decision though. I also had an offer for an internship at an HR department on campus but... well, SOAR is something I've wanted to do for a long time. Maybe I'll be able to get the internship next summer after I come back from Barcelona.
Anyway, I'm super distracted so I know this entry is pretty discombobulated. I'll come back in and make it actually... coherant when I get back. My mom and I are headed down to the Baraboo Faire on the Square now. Toods!
