Shiny things, let me show you them!
Well, today was a good day. I had some good news at work, then I decided I was going to take advantage of the last dregs of the Labor Day sales and finally buy a new washer and dryer, which has been really needed for quite some time. The dryer takes two or even three cycles to dry stuff. They're like 25 years old, so no surprise it's time for new.
So off to Sears I went, and come Sunday, THESE will be delivered to my house!
They are energy efficient! The washer is front-loading! They have super cool settings and buttons! They will add the fabric softener! AND SO SHINY.
This is my first-ever major appliance purchase. I feel so grown up. Heh.
I think I'll put the old ones on Freecycle.
