Butterfingers, part deux
Well, after my Klutz Day of a few days ago, I continue to be Klutzy McDropperson. Went to Whole Foods for a few things tonight and bought a lovely big jar of homemade puttanesca sauce from a local Columbus Italian market. I love puttanesca because I love olives and capers, plus I wanted to try some quinoa pasta.
I got home and unloaded most of my things, picked up the bag by the handles and went to the pantry...but then the handle broke and the bag hit the floor, my jar of puttanesca shattering. At least it was still in the bag so there was no cleanup.
I considered trying to salvage some of the sauce but realizing how many tiny bits of glass were probably in there I dumped it all. Drats. No puttanesca for Lori.
Had coffee with my girls last night, we ran into another friend while we were there. Making plans to go to an art show this weekend. Getting my hair cut and colored tomorrow. Yep, you heard that right, getting my hair colored at the salon, where it's expensive. Doing that because I'm considering doing something drastic to it. Not saying anything else for now. :-) I might even get a new dress!
Also happy because after 47 pounds lost I can now wear my rings again.
