And now, the latest update in the continuing saga of Lori's Weird-Ass Dreams.
Last night I dreamt that I was in "The Bourne Identity." Not the book, the movie. And all day I was possessed with a terribly compulsive NEED to watch the movie, so I rented it tonight.
Bourne Identity was one of the first Ludlums I ever read and it's of course his best-known and most popular book, so when I saw the movie I was a little peeved that it bears almost no resemblance to the book. It used the same concept (guy with no memory but secret-agent type skills) and there the similarities end. But the movie's pretty entertaining on its own right. And hey, I'm not one to argue with anything that gets Matt Damon kicking butt all over my TV screen.
When I turned it off, "Showgirls" had just started on HBO. I've never seen it. Watched about twenty minutes of it.
Boy, they weren't kidding when they said it was one of the worst movies ever made.
movies: thumbs up,
books: nostalgia,
daily life: dreams,
movies: thumbs down
