Okay, so I've got the Sony Reader working on my desktop...kinda. The connection software can't seem to connect to the eBook store, so I'll have to get the books from elsewhere, which isn't really a problem. But looking at PDFs on it seems to be a bit of an issue, as the type is very small and I can't get it much larger.
Oh well. I mostly want it for putting Word documents onto.
All right, the real reason I'm posting is that you all HAVE TO WATCH THIS.
It's a woman named Susan Boyle auditioning on Britain's Got Talent. She's 47, very frumpy, not attractive, never been married and never been kissed (aww). She's wearing an unfortunate Mamie Eisenhower dress and oddly inappropriate shoes. With her frizzy gray hair she was no one's picture of a serious contestant.
She came onstage before the judges and a huge audience and told them she wanted to be a professional singer but never had been given the chance. She said she wanted to be as famous as Elaine Page. The audience is seen rolling their eyes, wincing. She's going to sing "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miz. Everyone is cringing. The judges are polite but you can tell they're bracing for the horror. The music starts. It's a longish intro. Susan stands waiting to start. The audience is covering their eyes.
Then, she opens her mouth and sings.
I think I've watched this about eight times now.
