Rush Limbaugh is a big fat...well, you know the rest.

Oh, Rush Limbaugh. You make it so easy. We barely have to break a sweat trying to make you look bad. You do it so well all by yourself.

First, there was the whole thing a few weeks ago where he was quoted as saying he hoped the President would fail. In other words, he hopes the economy keeps tanking and the whole country keeps spiralling further towards disaster. Just so his party can get back in power. This is like a fireman saying that he hopes somebody torches an apartment building full of sleeping families so that he gets a chance to be a hero and put out the fire.

What a tool.

Yesterday, King Tool dug himself a deeper hole. From his speech at CPAC:

We want every American to be the best he or she chooses to be. We recognize that we are all individuals. We love and revere our founding documents, the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. [Applause] We believe that the preamble to the Constitution contains an inarguable truth that we are all endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights, among them life. [Applause] Liberty, Freedom. [Applause] And the pursuit of happiness. [Applause] Those of you watching at home may wonder why this is being applauded. We conservatives think all three are under assault. [Applause] Thank you. Thank you.

Except that the whole life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness thing isn't from the Constitution, it's from the Declaration of Independence. Not that it negates his point (if he has one that makes any sense, that is, and I won't get into my disinclination to believe that Rush Limbaugh cares one tiny bit about anyone's liberties except his own and people who are exactly like him), but it sure makes him look like an idiot. If you're touting your reverence for the Constitution, it'd be helpful to quote it accurately.
