October, month of stuff that happens
I'm looking at my Google calendar for October and it's looking like a pretty busy month!
I have two concerts, possibly three. One week from tonight, Death Cab is playing here in town and yes, Dayna and I are going again even though we saw then in June in Cleveland. But...Tegan & Sara are playing with them this time! So it's kinda different! Then on the 21st it's COLDPLAY BABY with Rachel. It's on a Tuesday so that sucks, but did I mention that it's COLDPLAY BABY? Then on the 24th, the Magnetic Fields are here in town, and I might go to that. I haven't decided yet.
There's also a Halloween party down in Russell on the 25th which may be a whole weekend type of a dealy-o, and at some point another totally different Halloween party, and then there's that fetish party that I went to last year and play to go to again this year.
Oh, and the Circleville Pumpkin Festival, which I am grimly determined to attend this year, and I have to have another contact-lens short story written by the 15th, plus my usual slate of movie preview articles.
It has also been determined that I will be spending Christmas in San Antonio with my parents, which I'm really excited about. I've never been to Texas at all!
In annoying news, it has now been 2.5 weeks since I ordered my Medical Investigation DVDs and they have not arrived. I wrote to the webmaster saying wtf and no response. Hurmph. The goods news is that I found a torrent! There's never been one before but now there is. I just hope it works. It's about half done, 15 hours to go. Not many seeds.
