I love me some handymen.
I think I love the maintenance doodz at my apartment complex. I called the office last Friday because the toilet in Eric's bathroom was leaking due to not being flushed in six months and the gasket shriveled away to a tiny wrinkled foreskin.
When I got home I had a note from the maintenance guy. He'd fixed the toilet, then also noticed that my doorknob and deadbolt kickplate were kind of suckalickious, which they were, so he just went on ahead and replaced those too. I just stood there for a few minutes, opening and shutting and locking and unlocking the front door and marveling at its smooth, non-suckalicious operation, going "Oh, that's how it's SUPPOSED to be!"
Say, did y'all know that the BBC is airing a long miniseries of "Sense and Sensibility" right now? My question is, is it the same folkses who brought the total wonderfulness of the P&P miniseries into the world? And is this miniseries worth watching? Hmmmm.
So, for those of you not playing along at home, OSU is currently having their asses collectively handed to them by LSU in the BCS championship bowl. I'm not watching, but ESP has a nifty little widget to let me know the score. Not that I wouldn't know anyway, by the hoots, hollers, groans and curses coming from the neighbors.
My. This widget really is super keen. This is cooler than watching the game.
