Car update
Whew. The adjuster left me a message informing me that he'd written the body shop a check, minus my deductible, and that my car would be fixed. Not totaled. Yay! He also assured me that all my rental car days would be paid for...because the repairs are going to take over a week! Yikes! Looks like more pimpin' in the mini for me.
I got some good Christmas shopping done today while I waited for Kinko's to finish binding my manuscripts.
Last night, I finally told my mother what "Third" is about. I'd never actually told her about it before, and angel that she is, she has never pestered me about it. To my relief she was intrigued and fascinated, and now I can give her a copy to read when I'm home for Christmas. At last, I have something finished (well, still being edited, but finished) to give her. Go me!
