Colonel Ironhorse! Yay!
OMG yay!
I loved this show. The "War of the Worlds" TV series...its first season, that is. Anyone else remember this show and its sudden, inexplicable reinvention? The first season was a campy but cool kind of aliens-among-us plotline about four intrepid alien hunters always looking over their shoulders and trying to combat the alien threat.
Then with the second season...they abruptly killed off two of the characters (including Colonel Ironhorse, WAH), added Adrian Paul and moved all the action into seeming another dimension. The world (which had previously been normal, if alien-encrusted) was suddenly a post-apocalyptic Max Headroom kind of place with sewer tunnels and dank dark blue lighting and it was all totally different and it SUCKED.
But DVD release, yay!
ETA: In other SUCKY news, in November they're releasing a Buffy: Complete Series DVD collection. For $200.
Are you shitting me? That's like HALF PRICE. Seven season, about $60 a pop = $420 if you already bought all seven season (I only have five and I've already spent more money than the complete series would cost).
I shall now say something I never thought to say: Damn you, Joss! You're evil to do this to us!
